Designed to be used with
Norbar's range of 'SMART' transducers, the TTT utilizes not one, but two
transducer ports. This gives the user added flexibility and allows
a second torque range to be covered by the touch of a button. Once
a transducer has been connected, the unit will automatically recognize
the calibration details such as the serial number, capacity and mV/V
output.
A pictorial front panel
selects the required mode of measurement via symbols on the keypad,
eliminating the need for an in depth knowledge of torque measurement
modes such as "peak" and "1st peak". Simply press
the key which represents your type of tool, the unit is then ready for
use.
Another impressive feature
of the TTT is the availability of multiple limits. This function enables
up to 8 different target values to be set and accessed via the up and
down arrows on the keypad. High, low or pass readings are indicated via
an LED display.
Other key features include,
rechargeable battery pack, all common units of torque measurement,
memory for up to 20 'NON-SMART' transducers, RS232 output for connection
to a PC / Printer, operating threshold, variable frequency response and
pulse count for power tool testing.
Accuracy is typically
+/-0.14% of reading on a 2 mV/V Transducer between 20-100% of it's
capacity. Operating range is 0 - 120% of the transducers capacity.
